An up and coming artist, Sodeinde Rufus, popularly known as Rufus hair wizard has revealed how his barbing profession paved the way for his music career.
The ambitious artist on Monday disclosed that he will release his first single record in September.
The Ogun-born artist and a graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta said his barbing profession has made him meet with celebrities, adding that it has assisted him on his music journey.
He added that in the line of working for artists, he has interacted with them on many occasions and knows their lifestyle.
He further stated that his vocation and passion have been his driving force towards attaining a greater height.
"Barbing is a tool to gain stand for my music career, education is my weapon.
"I level up my barbing game to meet up to the stage of professionals, it’s all passion, hard work, consistency.
"My music career so far, I am an up and coming artist, with good quality texture of sound different from its kind, and my project drops September which is the first official single."
Speaking on how his barbing profession, the artist said: "The barbing world is like our every day life, we all want to look good, groom our hair in a nicely shaped look, that’s the barbing world we’re barber brings your thought, ideas of how you want to look into reality."
On his music career, he said: "My journey, I won’t say has been easy or hard."
On his album, he revealed: "I will be bringing out to the works listening in September, the name of my album is "Grace'' it’s a big project that I will be featuring some top producers and I have Dj Java on my project, Emmanuel Precious, Zelux, Amunaje zarkii, and many more."
