Breaking: Abeokuta South Apex Leaders Knock Reps Aspirant, Akamo Sunday, Says He Should Not Waste His Money and Resources

The apex leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta South was reportedly to have knocked the house of representative aspirant, Sunday Akamo in a meeting this evening at the house of Chief Femi Majekodunmi, Ibara Housing Estate Abeokuta today 9th of May 2022.

According to our reporter, the Apex leaders in the meeting are, Hon Bukola Olopade, former commissioner of youth and sport, Chief Femi Majekodunmi, Chairman SUBEB Ogun State, Rt Hon Titi Oseni-Gomez, former speaker Ogun state house of Assembly, Hon Egunjobi, Senior Special Adviser on Housing, APC local government executives and the elder advisory board. 

The former commissioner of youths and sports, Hon Bukola Olopade was said to have come out blank to Hon Sunday Akamo, telling him not to waste his time and resources that no leader and delegates will cast their votes for him, he didn't state the reasons before the aspirant left the consultation meeting. 

He said 80% of the Apex leaders are for Hon Afolabi Afuape, the commissioner of chieftancy affairs while 20% of the leaders are neutral, telling him not to waste much of his energy and resources.

This impression bounced back on other aspirant on their chances of making it to become the candidate of the party when the leaders are openly declaring who they support to them during consultation meeting. 

Meanwhile, Other aspirants were also meeting the apex leaders one after the other to showcase their manifeatoes to the leaders of the party in Abeokuta South who are believed to be the decision maker during the indirect primaries of the party comes 19th of May 2022.


The aspirant, Sunday Akamo was said to have reluctantly left the meeting after the unpleasant response he received from the Apex leaders of the party.
