The executive chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon Chief Omolaja Majekodunmi has announced the postponement of his father's burial till 2nd and 3rd of June 2022.
The postponement was announced through the committee lead by the council vice chairman, Surv Lanre Sotayo and Desmond Olujimi who happened to be the secretary of the burial committee.
The announcement is stated below to political associates, friends and family;

This is to inform the general public that the final burial ceremony of our father, grandfather and great grandfather, Chief Joseph Olusoji MAJEKODUNMI (Bà ba Là jà Alájo), the father of Hon OMOLAJA AYODELE MAJEKODUNMI (HOAM), Executive Chairman ABSLG has been postponed till 2ND & 3rd of June 2022.
Kindly take this as our humble invitation to the Christian wake keep which will come up on Thursday, 2nd June 2022 @ St. Paul Cathedral hall, oke Igbore, Abeokuta while Burial service comes up on Friday, 3rd June 2022 at St Paul's Anglican Church oke Igbore.
Reception follows immediately after interment at Bishop's Court, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
