Nigerian Yoruba actor and comedian Kunle Adetokunbo, also known as Dejo Tunfulu, had passed out, but many were doubtful, believing it was an April Fool's joke.
Kunle Afod, a teammate, shared the news on his Instagram page Friday morning, commenting, "You still posted this pic lately just for me to learn about your death today." This is horrible, Pressy Tunfulu. "I still can't believe this, Daddy Junior."
While some have offered condolence messages, others argue it is too expensive to be an April Fool's joke.
In a conversation with radio OAP Adeyemi Olabode, the late actor's son confirmed the sad news.
According to the OAP, when he reached the late actor's phone number to verify the rumors, his phone was picked by his son, who confirmed that he is really dead.Biodun Okeowo, the Nigerian actress, also sent a tribute. Omoborty, as she is known simply, claimed that she will not be uploading any sponsored adverts on her Ig account today due to the tragic loss.
