The former lawmaker representing Ile-Ife Federal Constituency in the green chambers, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has felicitated with the entire muslim jamah for observing the fasting period in compliance with the ethics stipulated in the Holy Quran.Makinde is contesting for the house of representatives member in the forthcoming election to represent his federal constituency, Ile-Ife Federal constituency come 2023.In a Ramadan message released by his media aide, Mr Solanke Taiwo, the former lawmaker saluted them for their ardent prayers which has played an integral role in bolstering peaceful co-existence amongst Nigerians.” Islam is a religion of peace,the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) enjoins all muslim faithfuls to remain tolerant and live peacefully with people from other faith”Hon. Rotimi Makinde also urged them to sustain the noble ways that had endeared them to almighty God.Consequently, he extended his joyful appreciation to muslim clerics who charitably and meritoriously guided the good people of the Islamic faith throughout the thirty days period.
