The senatorial aspirant of Ogun central district under All Progressives Congress APC, Emmanuel Adebola Sofela popularly known as SHOFFI has felicitated with Christians faithful on the important occasion of Easter.
Sofela, urged Christians in the state to exhibit love, peace and tolerance as it’s been preached by Jesus Christ.
Easter is the Christian holiday celebrating the Resurrection, or bringing back to life of our Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion. In Christian faith, the Resurrection represents Christ’s victory over death and the promise of eternal life for those who follow him. Christians refer to Easter as Resurrection Day or Resurrection Sunday.
Easter Sunday marks the end of the 46-day preparatory season of Lent, which is significant in cultures around the world, especially by Christian faithfuls.
Celebrating the Significant and holy day. In this season of rebirth, it became imperative as it preaches love and togetherness, therefore, prioritizing unity and tranquility.
Sofela, however, charge Christians faithful to pray fervently for the general peaceful coexistence of the Nigeria Nation, hence this period is over time regarded as prayer request – time from God.
