Oba of Benin Receives Wike At Palace

Governor of Rivers state and People’s Democratic Party PDP’s presidential hopeful, Nyesom Wike has paid a visit to the Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II.

Governor Wike while at the ancient city also met with PDP delegates ahead of the party’s presidential primaries.

The Highly Revered first class monarch sent some Benin High Chiefs alongside the National Vice Chairman of the PDP South-South, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, House of Representatives Member and Edo South Senatorial Hope, Rt. Hon Engr. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, Former Minister of Works and Edo Central Senatorial hopeful, Chief (Arc) Mike Onolememen PhD, CON, House of Representatives Akoko-Edo, Fed Constituency aspirant Otunba Bankole Balogun and many other old PDP faithful who accompanied the PDP presidential aspirant to the Palace of the Oba of Benin.

Wike’s visit to the traditional ruler and PDP delegates and stakeholders is in his continuation if his nationwide consultation in his bid to get the PDP presidential ticket ahead of the 2023 polls
