DIRECTOR OF FIRE SERVICE DECORATES DEPUTY GOVERNOR, HoS, PS SPECIAL DUTIES, OTHERS AHEAD OF 2022 INTERNATIONAL FIREFIGHTERS DAY (IFFD) ON 4TH MAY.

As part of the programme line up for the commemoration of the 2022 (IFFD), Ogun State Fire Service Director, Engr. Fatai Adefala on Wednesday 28th April, decorated the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Oyedele Salako, the State Head of Service (HOS), Dr Nafiu Aigoro and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Special Duties And Intergovernmental Affairs, Dr Rotimiolu Akinlesi with the 2022 IFFD emblem.

According to ACFS KUTI BUKUNOLA, Ogun State Fire Service Public Relations Officer, OGFS PRO, International Firefighters Day is commemorated worldwide on the 4th of May annually to honour the sacrifice of firefighters who had died in the line of duty and also to celebrate and acknowledge the living firefighters who continue to risk their lives on daily bases in the course of rendering their humanitarian services to the populace.
