The Asiwaju Volunteers Group has stated that the passion to ensure that Nigeria witnessed accelerated development and come out from various challenges facing it as a nation are some of the reasons why it is campaigning for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria President come 2023.

The Director General, Asiwaju Volunteers Group, Hon Abiodun Ogidan gave the revelation over the weekend while addressing Journalists on the 2023 presidential election and the mission to ensure the emergence of Asiwaju Tinubu as the President.

Speaking under the theme "Asiwaju is here to lead Nigeria from the front" Hon Ogidan said the group who are combined group of professionals, politicians, non politicians and fellow lovers of  Nigeria are working together as volunteers with coordinators and teams every State of Federation, in the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada and Europe enabling all efforts towards the actualization of the 2023 Presidential mission of our mandate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

"We are committed to the development and progress of our dear Country Nigeria and believe in his leadership. We also use this opportunity to request from Asiwaju firstly to look carefully at the members who will run his campaign as there are many wolves  in sheep’s clothing, his leadership in the direction of campaigning done in the last elections both in party primaries and general especially in Lagos State goes to further show his capacity and ability to select hardworking and dedicated team.

Hon Abiodun Ogidan opined that the task to lead Nigeria is not the task but to lead from the front.

"Some men are born great Some achieve greatness Some have it trust upon them however, say what you may about Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as Shakespeare said  we can confidently say he was littered on the same day as the Lion hence he is called the lion of bourdillion.
