The Federal Government have finally opened Eko bridge as it has been under repair since the 4th of June.
As confirmed by Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, Olukayode Popoola, the bridge is to be accessible for use starting today, Friday 13,2021.
He said that the 10-week week rehabilitation works on Eko Bridge has been completed as earlier scheduled.
Mr Olukayode hinted that traffic would be diverted for the repair of the burnt Lagos Airport flyover, starting from August 13.
Extending the appreciation of the Minister of Works and Housing, he thanked all motoring public for their cooperation while the rehabilitation work was ongoing.
He however added that repairs remaining would be carried out without having to close down the bridge again.
