Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP) Agriculture Sector Team, which also included the newly appointed Sector Specialist Consultants, were on a courtesy and familiarization visit to the OGSTEP Agriculture Sector Lead and Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture in Oke-Mosan, on Tuesday, 9th March, 2021.

The team led by the Project Coordinator, Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP), Engr. Oluwatoyin Jokosenumi, while introducing the Consultants, appreciated the Commissioner for Agriculture for his support to the team since inception of the project. He further stated that the team will work complementarily with Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture  towards achieving the set objectives of OGSTEP. 

Receiving the team, the Commissioner for Agriculture and OGSTEP Agriculture Sector Lead, Dr. Adeola Odedina welcomed the newly appointed team members while assuring the team of all necessary support.







OGSTEP is a World Bank Assisted Project in line with the Ogun State Development Plan 2017-2030 (SDP) Reform Agenda, to accelerate strategic reforms and foster public investment, to enable greater private sector participation in the State’s economy. The Agriculture component of OGSTEP targets 40,000 beneficiary farmers in nine (9) priority value chains which include Cassava, Maize, Rice, Soybean, Tomatoes and Pepper, Sesame, Fishery and Poultry.
