The National Association of Nigerian Students NANS has felifitated with mothers across the nationa to mark the International Mothers day celebration.
According to the press statement signed by 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧,𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬,𝐎𝐠𝐮𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞/𝐀𝐱𝐢𝐬, Today, the over 7.9 billion world citizens set aside all to celebrate the true modern day Superheros among us; Mothers.
Our Mothers are Patient, Consistent, Forgiving, Calm, Organized, Loving, Friendly and Supportive and Disciplined.
They are the bedrock and platform for everything we become and will become.
Just as Maria Shriver aptly puts it, "Really good mothers make really good leaders because they nurture, they build a solid team, they see your potential, and they build on your strengths, not your fears.
They inspire you, they guide you..."
The National Association of Nigerian Students Ogun Axis/Joint Campus Committee rejoices with all our mothers across the globe supporting us Academically, Morally, Financially and Emotionally.
We say thank you for teaching us Acceptance, Tolerance, Bravery, Compassion and Integrity.
In line with today's celebration, we call on the Governor of Ogun State; Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun to further increase the appointment of women across Ministries, Departments and Agencies as their ingenuity is sorely needed in the affairs of the state.
In addition, we urge the first lady of Ogun state; Her Excellency, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun to spearhead intense and concerted campaigns that will astronomically promote the Girl Child Education across the state. Most especially in the rural areas.
