The House of Assembly Member Representing Yewa North II State Constituency, Hon. Haruna Egungbohun Wahab Abiodun has kicked against open grazing as a result of brutal attacks on residents and farmers by marauding herdsmen in his constituency.
Hon Wahab disclosed this yesterday during the plenary presided over by Speaker Olakunle Oluomo at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta the state capital.
The Lawmaker frowned on how fulani herdsmen has been causing tension under the guise of open grazing for their herds of cattle and destructing farm land in his constituency.
In an interview with Journalists, Hon Wahab disclosed that the attacks of herdsmen has gotten to a worrisome state in his local government.
He therefore appealed to the government at all levels adding that if it failed to found a lasting solution to the menance, henceforth, government will be hold responsible of any kidnapping or attacks in the area.
