Respite has finally come to hundreds of households in four communities in Ijebu North Local government area of Ogun state with the provision of boreholes by a Chairmanship aspirant of Ijebu North Local government area, Prince Ademola Osofodunrin (ALLOWED) 

The projects are located in Ojude Ako, Ojowo and adjacent Fire Station, Odaramusegun in Ijebu-Igbo, Baba Alagbe’s house in Oru-Ijebu as well as Omo Bobo junction in Ago-Iwoye.











Inaugurating the 4 projects on Friday, Commissioner, Ogun state Teaching Service Commission, Prince Ademola Adeleye (AJALOLERU) commended Prince Ademola Osofudunrin (ALLOWED) and his foundation, “the allowed foundation” for consolidating government’s effort at providing portable water to the citizens.

Adeleye said access to drinkable water has been a major challenge in the communities as residents often rely on other water sources particularly wells, which comes at a cost, many cannot bear.

Also at the inauguration ceremony is Chairman of Ijebu North Local government area, Hon Olusola Jayeola , who explained that contaminated water portends great health risks to the people.

He said diseases like dysentery, cholera and diarrhea are preventable if there is access to clean water.

On his part, the convener of the “allowed foundation” Prince Ademola Osofodunrin (ALLOWED) who is also a chairmanship aspirant of Ijebu north local government area under the All Progressives Congress, APC said he understands how important water is to human lives and to the benefiting communities.

He noted that the projects have solved a major challenge faced by the communities where residents had to trek long distances to get water but other times make use of the water available whether contaminated or not.

Prince Ademola Osofodunrin (ALLOWED) appealed to the people of Ijebu North to support his candidature, with a promise to invest more in developmental projects including portable water, good roads, and access to quality health care to make life easy for the people.
