JAHUN REMAINS VGN COMMANDER GENERAL, DISREGARD FAKE NEWS FROM ENEMIES OF NATIONAL SECURITY - SAYS DALHATU

The attention of the National Headquarter of Vigilante Group of Nigeria located at No 1 Ibrahim Gambari Crescent Katampe new extension Abuja has been drawn to a sponsored publication in one online newsprint (independent.ng)with above mentioned caption.

According to the press statement signed by Nureni Olanrewaju Adedoyin,National PRO Vigilante Group of Nigeria, National Headquarter, Abuja, The write up did not emanate from the National Executive Council of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria under the leadership of Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi.

Also, he said, The publication is full of hoax and misleading information calculated to tarnish the personality of the Commander General of VGN in the person of Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi and the National PRO Nureni Olanrewaju Adedoyin ( MSc, FCAi).

"There has never been a time when fraudulent activities occurred in VGN or traced to the person of Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi...The court of appeal judgement in a suit number CA:K/253/2018 in which Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi was declared as the Commander General of VGN is not a personal issue with Late Alhaji Ali Sokoto. Late Alhaji Ali Sokoto did not have any private issue with Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi. The judgement is in respect of the office of the Commander General/ National Chairman of VGN." Said Adedoyin

Meanwhile, The Chairman board of trustees, Alhaji Dalhatu has affirmed the rightful Commander General of VGN and that is Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi. This can be confirmed in a Radio Nigeria news of Sunday, 29th November 2020.

That the sponsor of the article is neither a member of board of trustees of VGN nor a member of VGN but only looking for cheap popularity.

"The National Executive Council of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria never suspend Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi as the Commander General of VGN...Members of the public are advised to disregard the publication as it is a hoax, insalubrious and pernicious, Members of the Vigilante Group of all over the country are advised to shun the publication and continue to exercise trust in the leadership of Dr Usman Muhammad Jahun fsi." He added.

He said the sponsor of the fake news, one Umar Bakori should know better especially when it comes to organisational matters and should desist from parading himself as a member of VGN.
