Scores Injured As Vehicle Ram Into Provision Mall In Lagos

At about 2pm today a highlander Toyota jeep fails break on isawo road Agric Ikorodu Lagos driving straight into a wholesale provision store identified as "Holuwaseunfunmi provision store" at No 15 saw road opposite NNPC leaving two injured, however, no death was recorded.

The vehicle driver who pleaded on anonymity said he can not explain what really happened and how he lost control of the vehicle.

An eye witness revealed that the vehicle had collided with two other motorcycles before diving from the major road into the provision store.

In the provision were retailers who came to buy stuffs, one of them identified as Iya Idris had her leg broken from the incident and has been rushed to the hospital. Another eye witness who was also in the shop identified as Mr Isiaka said he is thankful to God for saving him because he would also have sustained a fatal injury but he was in the inner shop. He also revealed there was a toddler right at the spot where the vehicle stopped but he was fast enough to carry the child, saving her life.
