Abeokuta - Tragedy struck in the capital city of of Ogun State following the death of a 14-year-old girl who was reported missing a few days ago, later found raped and murdered by unknown criminals.
According to infomation gathered form Faith Ifeoluwa Ojewoye's mother on a telephony interview, she said Faith was sent to refill a cooking gas cylinder on the fateful day, after which she returned home, dropped the cylinder and left the house, never to return.
The mother called Amebo Newspaper to report the incident after leaving the Police station in Adatan, while we design a picture of MISSING PERSON to further help in finding her, but to our surprise the mother told us she found her daughter lifeless body in a nearby bush raped to death on Friday afternoon.
The teen, who was last seen in Agbeloba, Oriyanrin, in Abeokuta, Ogun state, was reported missing on Wednesday, September 16.
Unfortunately, her body was found on the evening of Friday, September 18 in a needy bush around Agbeloba, Oriyanrin in Abeokuta, some meters away from where she lived with her mother.
The lifeless body was later evacuated by men of the Nigeria Police Force, Adigbe Division to the nearby mortuary as investigation proceeds on the perpetrators of the incident.
