The Ogun State governor, prince Dapo Abiodun has said that he will ban Okada-Riders in the state if they continue flouting lockdown rules in the state.
He said that he has observed that they have failed to obey all the rules laid down by the state government as part of efforts to fight coronavirus pandemi.
Abiodun made this known during a press conference at the governor's office, Okemosan , Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He said,'' I will not hesistate to ban all Okada-Riders in the stat, if they continue to flout our oder on the use of face masks. I havd discovered that most of them dont make use of face masks and this is uncalled for. If they fail to obey our rules, we will ban them and they will not exist in the state.'' he concluded.
He however said that he will arrest any okada riders and passengers caught for not using face masks or carrying more than one passengers.
