The money donated by the Brazilian will help treat the people suffering from the COVID-19 virus as well as support those struggling due to the impact of the outbreak. The former Barcelona winger made the donation anonymously, but he was later revealed by Brazilian TV show *Fofocalizando* as the benefactor. Neymar has become the latest sports star to generously donate in order to help fight the virus that is claiming thousands of lives across the globe. Former footballer and *Match of the Day* host **Gary** **Lineker** recently donated two months of his salary – approximately £300,000 – to the British Red Cross.
