It was a great time and period for the comedian Monsurat Omidina, popularly known as Moladun Kenkelewu.

She was one of the most funniest actors of her time before she was attacked with a sudden illness that took away her life in the early hours of Tuesday, September 1st 2009 at her residence in Ikorodu not quite long after the death of a veteran actress Remi Abiola.

According to her profile she was aged 46 years and was survived by two kids which she had for Babatunde Omidina.

Moladun was known to be the wife to a veteran comedian Babatunde Omidina popularly known as Baba Suwe.

She was assumed to have died of hypertension because most sources confirmed that she was found on her bed with blood all over her noses and ears. Moladun was reported to have stopped some years before her death because of the illness she was battling with.

Moladun started this acting areer in Ibadan, Oyo State, as at the early times of 90s before she then finally moved to Lagos where she met Baba Suwe and they both got married. .

Some many high profiled actors payed their condolences visits to the families of the deceased.

It was then later confimed by family that she has been on this sickness for sometime and have been billed to fly out the country in which preparations has been made as at that time. She was supposed to obtain her visa on Tuesday morning to travel to England for the needed treatment but unneccesary delays were made by the British High Commision which made some stakeholders of the entertainment to frown as the administration for late approval.
