In view of the Agricultural and investment opportunities in Ogun State, the Ministry of Agriculture has emphasized its readiness to support private investors in the areas of training, linkage and job creation for investors and farmers in the State.

This was made known by the Ministry of Agriculture team while receiving delegates from Africa Mechanical Superlift Limited who were at the Ministry of Agriculture in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta to solicit for Ogun State Government’s support in lemon-grass, curry leaves, spices and vegetables value chain and investments.

Consultant to the Governor on Agriculture, Dr. (Mrs) Angel Adelaja-Kuye expressed the State Government’s commitment to job creation and Agribusiness, which many unemployed youths are keying into in large numbers.

“We are interested in creating jobs for our people through various agricultural value-chains such as curry leaf, ginger, tomatoes and lemon grass.” she said

Speaking earlier, the Project Manager, Africa Mechanical Superlift Limited, Mr. Dinisix Nair said the proposed investment in Ogun State would culminate into employment of many youths, marketing and exportation of products, promising his organization’s zeal to invest in the State.
