LWC RESTORES WATER SUPPLY, APOLOGIZES TO RESIDENTS

Lagos Water Corporation, (LWC) has restored Water supply to Lagos residents, particularly those that have been affected with the disruption of water supply due to the Gas Outage by the LWC Service Provider, Akute Power Limited (APL).

In a statement released over the weekend in Lagos, the Corporation stated that "Operations commenced at the LWC Iju waterworks and Akute Intakes as result of restoration of Power supply by the Akute Power Limited (APL), therefore restored potable water to the affected areas of the State".

Effort to restore water through Adiyan Waterworks is ongoing, as we promise you improve service delivery.

"We therefore express deep appreciation to the general public, thanking you for your patience, endurance, cooperation and support during the period of Water scarcity"

The Corporation however enjoined Lagosians to continue to support the Government’s efforts in sustaining water supply in the State.
