Jubilation As Abiodun Loyalist, Efele Confirmed As RTEAN Chairman In Ogun

The Road Transport Employer’s Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Ogun State branch has unanimously confirmed Titilayo Akibu popularly know. As Efele as the substantive State Chairman of the Association.

Efele who had been the Acting State Chairman became the substantive State Chairman in a well-attended meeting, last weekend held at its State Secretariat, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

The meeting was observed by the Ogun State Committee on Transportation that oversees the State transport sector.

It should be recalled that “Vote of No Confidence” was passed against the former State Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Kuku (Aboki) in 2018.

The nearly 2,000 executive committee members from 66 Chapels, 14 Zones, State and leaders and elders of the Association in the State, who attended the State meeting also unanimously passed “Vote of Confidence” on the State Executive Committee of the Association.

Other members of the State Executive Committee who would work with Akibu Efele for the next four years were Comrade Tiwalade Akingbade, State Secretary, Alhaji Kayode Inuolaji, State Treasurer, Chief Segun Johnson (aka Tokis), State Deputy Chairman (Administration), and others.
