The chairman, transition committee, Abeokuta South local government area of Ogun state Hon Ayodeji Shomide has assured the people of the council area of more synergy between his administration and the people of the grassroot by providing social amenities that will improve the well being of the people.
Hon. Ayodeji Shomide stated this while playing host to market men and women in the council area led Alhaja Kemi Oloyede the Iyaloja of Adire Kampala market, Asero, Abeokuta.
Congratulating the council boss on his recent appointment, Alhaja Kemi Oloyede appreciated the efforts of the current administration in Ogun state in the area of road construction especially in the residential and rural communities saying same gesture should be done in all markets area in the state. Adding that the markets needs additional facilities and adequate water supply.
In his remarks, Hon. Shomide promised governmental intervention in all ramifications saying all their requests would be adequately addressed as his administration is committed to carry the grassroots along in his developmental agenda.
The council boss however warned market men and women to desist from the habit of displaying their wares by the road sides for safety of lives and properties .
He said the council may set up a special task force to eradicate the habit completely as it is for their own good.
