Headteacher Arraigned For Sleeping With 17-year-old Twins Pupil In Lagos State

A Secondary school head teacher ,Mr. Samson Adeyemo, has admitted having sexual relationship with two 17-year-old twin girls in a school at Abule Egba,Lagos .

He made this known before an Ikeja Special Offences Court and facing a two count charge of defilement of a child.

Samson Adeyem an head teacher in Legati College, Abule Egba was having sexual relationship with twins and claimed he was married to one due to the fact he seeked parental consenst from the parents according to him.

As reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) the State Prosecutor, Ms M. I. Oshodi, claimed Mr Samson Adeyemo who they discovered has a National Certificate in Education (NCE) had admitted defiling the underage pupils (names withheld).

He said, "I had a relationship with Twin A and Twin B. I'm married to Twin A . The marriage was not conducted in the church or registry. I had her consent and her parents were aware.

"Marriage is done between a male and a female, and it is for life. What is between me and Twin A is marriage and the one people do in the church or registry is wedding"

He stated that the relationship between Twin A started in 2016 and he had sexual intercourse with her in 2017. He said he didn't start the relationship with Twin B until he met their mother and had sexual intercourse with Twin B after meeting her mother.

He said that the school he operated had not been fully registered with Lagos State Ministry of Education, and denied having any sexual relationship other pupils in the school.

Adeyemo said that Twin B became jealous of his relationship with her twin and wanted him also.

He said that in 2017, Twin A became pregnant for him and he decided to take care of her but her parents refused, and insisted on aborting the baby.

"I gave her some upkeep money and her parents collected the money from her and terminated the pregnancy "

The case was adjourned till February 21 by Justice Sherifat Solebo.
