There was tension in Oke-Itoku area of Abeokuta following a fire inferno that razed three houses down completely overnight.
According to a seventy-two year old man, Muideen Odetola who speaks with our correspondent at the scene of the incident said nobody can ascertain the cause of the fire incident because the smoke just erupted from nowhere and residence were running helter and scepter to save their valuables from the burning fire.
Meanwhile, an Abeokuta based lawyer, Nurudeen Olaleye lost his certificate of call to bar and other professional courses certificate to the inferno.
"I give God the glory for the gift of life, one of the affected buildings belong to my grandparents and I choose to keep almost all my documents in one of the rooms there for safety purposes, only for me to be called upon that the building has been raised by fire over the night...."
"My call to bar certificate, other valuables was burnt out as you can see" said Olaleye.
Honorable Ademuyiwa Adeyemi, house of assembly member Abeokuta South constituency 2 also visited the scene of the incident, he sympatised with the affected families and assured them of government intervention as quick as possible.
