One person was said to have died, while seven others sustained various degrees of injuries in a Thursday accident that occurred along the Sagamu-Ijebu/Ode highway in Ogun State.
The road crash occurred around 2:30am at the Babcock University slope, inbound Sagamu from Odogbolu.
A white Toyota bus, belonging to Chukwu Buikem Motors, with registration number, AKD 101 XS, had allegedly rammed into a FIAT Van, with number plate, LAM 528 LG; killing the Toyota bus driver, who was coming from the East, on the spot.
The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) corps confirmed the incident.
TRACE Corps confirmed that four men and three women sustained injuries in the accident. They have since been conveyed to Babcock University Teaching Hospital for treatment.
The deceased driver has been taken to Idera Hospital Morgue, Sagamu by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
