The house of representative candidate of Alliance People's Movement APM, Honourable Mikhail Kazzim has appreciates his supporters for their unflinching supports towards his aspiration in the just concluded house of assemblies election in Ogun State.
Read his statement:
I wish to use this medium to personally show my deep sense of gratitude to you all for your turn out and massive support before and during last Saturday 23rd, February, 2019, national assembly elections. The outcome of the elections notwithstanding, I owe the outpour of prayers, moral support and votes to you my friends, family and constituents across Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda local governments areas.
It is no longer news that the results of last federal constituency elections, as announced by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is not in our favour and the outcome not a reflection of the hard work, dedication, selfless service and pursuit of people driven programmes of our tenure but a price worth paying in the face of tyranny, oppression and high handedness of a few power mongers who are hell bent on subverting the will of the people. Regardless of the challenges at the poll, I believe I fought a good fight and have no regret in sacrificing my federal house of representative ticket for the victory of General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR and that of Senator Ibikunle Amosun CON, FCA.
Once again, let me thank the good people of Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda federal constituency, for giving me the opportunity to show that I am capable of making a significant impact as a lawmaker within a four year single term. Our record of performance in plenary, appropriation and oversight speak for itself as fact is sacred. Despite the fact that my constituency covers 38wards of three local governments, we are able to touch most places and people with far reaching, people oriented constituency projects and programmes.
I remain grateful that my little effort at empowering our people, bringing the dividends of democracy and restoring peoples confidence in the mantra of service to the people are acknowledged by all and sundry, even across Ogun State. I am glad that the little time given me as your representative has been well used in redefining standards, service to the cause of the masses and quality representation. I therefore thank you all for your support so far and urge you to remain focused and resolute towards the task ahead.
On Saturday 9th March, 2019, I urge all supporters of Micky Kazzim to troop out en masse and vote massively for the Allied Peoples' Movement, APM, State Assembly candidates for Abeokuta North State Constituency, Mrs Modupe Mujota, Obafemi Owode State Constituency, Hon. Tunde Sanusi, Odeda State Constituency, Hon. Sulaiman Adebayo and APM governorship candidate, Abdul-kabir Adekunle Akinlade, *(Triple A)* as the next Executive Governor of Ogun State. I believe the call to service of sustaining the mission to rebuild our dear state and the need to ensure a smooth transition for continued growth and development can not be left in better hands than that of Hon. Adekunle Akinlade, Princess Adepeju Adebajo and the well endowed and resourceful 26 state house of Assembly candidates flying the flag of our dear party, Allied Peoples' movement, APM, in March.
Let me seize this opportunity to, once again, say a big thank you to my leader and political mentor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, CON, FCA, all other notable leaders across board, my campaign organisation, media team, Local government and LCDA Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Secretaries, Councillors, Micky Ladies, Micky Princesses, Micky progressive boys, Micky drummers, Micky singers, Local government coordinators, LCDA coordinators, ward excos, ward coordinators, mobilizers, canvassers, and party agents. I want to thank everyone involved in the success of our campaign and good showing at the polls.
Thank you and God bless.
*Hon. Mukaila Olayiwola Kazzim MHR*
