The loyalists of Governor Ibikunle Amosun led by Gabriel Olutayo from ward 7, Abeokuta South has urged him not to play spoilers game during a declaration meeting for Dapo Abiodun's ambition in Abeokuta.
In attendance was former house of assembly member, Honorable Allen Tailor and ward leaders of Abeokuta South federal constituency.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Oyatayo has contested as councilor three times, House of Assembly in the All Progressives Congress APC but he was denied tickets.
According to Gabriel Oyatayo, the declaration of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the governorship candidate of party, APC did not go well with Governor Ibikunle Amosun because of the failure of his anointed aspirant to clinch the ticket. The governor visited our National leader, President Mohammad Buhari noted than five times within five weeks to upturn the decision of the party but the president remains adamant and appeal to the governor to abide by the party decisions.
"It is on note that I want to appeal to the governor Ibikunle Amosun to the supremacy of the party which he used to take away tickets from the party, All Progressive Congress APC three times and the same he enjoined in 2010 when he was handpicked as the governorship candidate in ACN ahead of 10 other aspirants without primary to also prevail on him to support the candidature of Prince Dapo Abiodun... This is the only way the governor can be a true party man and the leader he claimed to be said Gabriel Oyatayo."
Honorable Allen Tailor expresses solidarity with the supporters of Dapo Abiodun where he urges them to be proactive and ready to take over Ogun state from Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Honorable Farouk Tunde also expresses solidarity with the group as he laud the supporters to be ready for the forthcoming election.
