The talk of Wizkid liking older women may just be speculations especially after it was established that he and Tiwa Savage are just good buddies without any intimacy involved.

Fans have craved to see Wizkid announce plans for marriage or show off his girl like Davido is currently doing with Chioma but it looks like they will have to wait for a while because he is obviously enjoying his blossoming friendship with top British model Naomi Campbell at the moment.

The Nigerian, 28, had shared a lot of pictures of him and the 48-year-old in recent times and it looks that is about to go a notch higher with the revelation of his new public blushes over the ebony pretty model with an eye like a goddess.

But age apart, both have somethings in common as they both started pretty young, very successful and share same passion for fashion. Out of the blue, Wizkid posted this on his official Instagram page: “Love u @naomi ❤️❤️❤️ thank u for always being by my side ❤️❤️🌹🌹” And she replied: “Love you too baby wiz. I’m so proud of my little bro!! Up and forward.”

Campbell’s first public appearance came at the age of seven, in 1978, when she was featured in the music video for Bob Marley’s “Is This Love”. At the age of 12 she tap-danced in the music video for Culture Club’s “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya”.

In 1986, while still a student of the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, Campbell was scouted by Beth Boldt, head of the Synchro Model Agency, while window-shopping in Covent Garden. Her career quickly took off—in April, just before her 16th birthday she appeared on the cover of British Elle

For Wizkid, he began recording his debut studio album, Superstar, in 2009. On 2 January 2010, he released “Holla at Your Boy” as the album’s lead single. The song earned him the Next Rated award at The Headies 2011, and was nominated for Best Pop Single at the aforementioned awards show.

The music video for “Holla at Your Boy” was nominated for Most Gifted Newcomer Video at the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards. It was also nominated for Best Afro Pop Video at the 2011 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA). On 2 April 2010, Wizkid released “Tease Me/Bad Guys” as the album’s second single.

The song was initially released as a freestyle. “Don’t Dull”, the album’s third single, was released on 6 December 2010. The album was recorded in English and Yoruba. It was released on 12 June 2011, by Empire Mates Entertainment. The album incorporates elements of R&B, dancehall, and reggae.

Wizkid collaborated with a wide range of music producers, including E-Kelly, Jay Sleek, Shizzi, DJ Klem, Masterkraft, Q-Beats and Samklef. The album features guest appearances from Banky W., Skales, D’Prince and Wande Coal. It was initially scheduled for release on 14 February 2011, but was later pushed back.

On 12 June 2011, Wizkid hosted an album launch party at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel and Suites. The album’s launch party featured performances from Banky W, Skales, 2face Idibia, Samklef, Wande Coal, D’Prince, Olamide, eLDee, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, Lynxxx and Seyi Shay. Superstar garnered Best Album of the Year at the 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, and was nominated for Album of the Year at The Headies 2012.

Will the blossoming relationship of Wizkid and Naomi grow into more or just be a friendship? Only time will tell.
