The economy situation in the country has made the State of Osun one of the states in Nigeria that has not been meeting its monthly obligations of paying salaries of workers in its workforce, had Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Governor of the State of Osun been the only state Governor who as at today owing workers salaries in the country, walahi I would have cease to be a member of APC long ago. If anyone can proof to me otherwise, that the residents of the State of Osun are not enjoying relatively peace; positive turn around in our environment; good sense of belonging as Omoluabi and transformation in our various infrastructures in Osun state today. I probably would have dropped this party called APC. Let somebody from Ile-Ife my community come out boldly to tell me that he or she is not impressed by the new look of that ancient school known as Oduduwa College Ile-Ife and many others, the very old school attended by many great personalities like Chief Richard Akinjide SAN, Hon Ahmed Ipoola Omisore, Late Oba Okunade Sijuade, Late Alh Niniola Makinde and other great citizens of this country, I will be ready to change my party instantaneously. What’s a new government after Gov. Aregbesola will do in regards to Primary and Secondary Schools, if not for adequate maintenance and sustaining the legacies, prompt retraining and payment of our qualified teacher's salaries. What else?
Like or hate him or dislike or love his look, his religion or party, he has performed beyond any previous administrations and has done so with the meager income of the State, limited resources and not operating in an isolated economy, he has delivered his campaign promises.
In the absence of none of these, i beg to let us emulate Lagos state to sustain this unprecedented achievement in Osun State, let us sustain the growth in the State of Osun with continuity, in any capacity, I am ready to partner with the incoming governor as a member house of representatives and with serious intention to contribute my quota to the continued greatness of State of Osun and Nigeria at large. My pedigree in service is there for verification.
