The leading aspirant for the position of house of assembly, Obafemi-Owode state constituency, Hon Oluwaseun Adebowale MaticoSF has commended Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun mfr for approving construction of secondary school in Orile Imo, in Obafemi-Owode local government.

Orile Imo High School, Orile Imo was one of the schools established during the era of His Excellency, Chief Olabisi Onabanjo as the Governor of Ogun State but was later closed down due to paucity of fund during the era of Col Oladipo Diya (now a retired General).

According to the information at Amebo Newspaper NG disposal, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, mfr has graciously approved the request to resuscitate the defunct Orile Imo High School, Orile Imo within Obafemi Owode Local Government. 

The approval was contained in a letter signed by the Director of Education, Secondary and Higher Education, Mr. Olanrewaju Erinle on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. O. A. Ogunleye. The letter also congratulates the Imo Community for this breakthrough hoping that all basic human and material facilities germane to the effective take-off of the school will be put in place.

Receiving the letter on Tuesday, 8th March, 2022 on behalf of the community, Sola Otesile, fncs, the Chairman of Imo Community Education Committee ably supported by Chief Okesola Adesegun, the Secretary of the committee, expressed appreciation to the education loving governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, mfr for believing in training young minds who are the leaders of tomorrow. 

MaticoSF, pleaded to the party leaders and faithful to embrace the opportunity which he described as a rare gesture from a reliable and responsible government under Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun mfr to his people. 

Adding that the people of Obafemi-Owode should reciprocate the rare gesture by re-electing Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term in the forthcoming election in 2023 for continuity of infrastructural development projects. 

He urged the parents to ensure they secure the opportunity by sending their children to school to acquire quality education for a brighter future and individual development.
