The executive governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, mfr has graciously approved the request to resuscitate the defunct Orile Imo High School, Orile Imo within Obafemi Owode Local Government.
This is contained in a letter signed by the Director of Education, Secondary and Higher Education, Mr. Olanrewaju Erinle on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. O. A. Ogunleye.

The letter also congratulates the Imo Community for this breakthrough hoping that all basic human and material facilities germane to the effective take-off of the school will be put in place.

Receiving the letter on Tuesday, 8th March, 2022 on behalf of the community, Sola Otesile, fncs, the Chairman of Imo Community Education Committee ably supported by Chief Okesola Adesegun, the Secretary of the committee, expressed appreciation to the education loving governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, mfr for believing in training young minds who are the leaders of tomorrow. He adds that the community envisions to put in place a standard secondary education for smarter and 21st century skills acquisition that will bring about the needed development within Imo community and the world at large. He adds that the era of looking for job is over as the world is craving for job creators in all fields of human endeavours. He therefore concludes that Orile Imo High School will be positioned to be citadel of knowledge for best education in order to raise leaders of tomorrow.

Orile Imo High School, Orile Imo was one of the schools established during the era of His Excellency, Chief Olabisi Onabanjo as the Governor of Ogun State but was later closed down due to paucity of fund during the era of Col Oladipo Diya (now a retired General).
