Working People United (WoPU), a civic and political movement supporting the Nigerian workforce, has concluded arrangements to hold its official Lagos State chapter Inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, August 12, 2026,at the Blue Roof, Lagos Television (LTV).
According to the organizers, the Lagos launch aims to build grassroots structures and mobilize workers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election and Dr Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat’s local support, convened by Lagos Coordinator, Comrade Funmi Sessi.
Recall that WoPU Inaugurated its Delta State chapter in Asaba recently, backing President Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for 2027 while naming former Delta Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa as patron.
