SAGAMU — In commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful across the globe, calling for a collective reflection on the Prophet's enduring legacy of peace, humility, and righteousness.

In a goodwill message issued to mark the Eid-el-Maulud celebrations, the Council Chairman highlighted the importance of translating the core teachings of Islam into daily community living and governance. He noted that the occasion presents a vital opportunity for citizens to strengthen their faith and deepen mutual affection across diverse backgrounds.

"I join Muslims across the world in reflecting on his exemplary life, teachings, and enduring legacy of peace, compassion, humility, and righteousness," Odulate stated, emphasizing that true devotion manifests through consistent acts of kindness and a commitment to harmonious living.

The Chairman urged residents of Sagamu, Ogun State, and the nation at large to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence as essential pillars for societal growth. He expressed optimism that drawing inspiration from the Prophet’s life would foster stronger communal bonds and collective progress.

Offering prayers for the local government area and the country, Odulate added, "May Allah accept our prayers and acts of worship, bless our families, and continue to grant peace, progress, and prosperity to Sagamu Local Government, Ogun State, and Nigeria."
