ABEOKUTA — Highlighting the economic challenges facing citizens, Hon. Toyin Amuzu has criticized the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) for bringing hardship upon the public, pledging dedicated representation and swift completion of all abandoned projects across the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency if elected.

Speaking during a live radio broadcast on Fresh FM Abeokuta, Amuzu outlined an ambitious legislative and developmental agenda aimed at restoring community growth, sponsoring citizens-first legislation, and attracting major federal infrastructure contracts to the constituency.

Beyond infrastructure development, Amuzu emphasized targeted interventions in education and agriculture. He promised to prioritize educational funding to significantly lower the number of out-of-school children within the constituency. To bolster local agricultural production and food security, he also committed to providing farmers with direct access to essential farm inputs, including fertilizers.

Addressing wider state elections, Amuzu urged residents across Ogun State to support the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidates, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu and Alhaja Yemi Kolapo-Showunmi, for Governor and Deputy Governor in the upcoming 2027 gubernatorial election to ensure the equitable delivery of democracy dividends.

While stressing on insecurity in the country, he said the government of All Progressives Congress APC has not done anything different in Ogun state.

“He said it's the duty of the government to provide adequate security, the houses they built under the ministry of housing cannot be bought by common masses due to the high cost they are selling it, they are empowering themselves"

When asked if he would attend to politician first if elected as a member of house representative, He said he will put people's first if elected as a member representing Abeokuta South federal constituency

Amuzu appeared on the broadcast alongside Arc. Olaleye, the PDP candidate for the Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi-Owode Federal Constituency.
