Entrepreneur Adekoya Ibukunoluwa has filed a ₦100 million defamation suit against Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of broadcaster Frank Edoho, over alleged Instagram posts linking her to an extramarital affair with the media personality.
According to court documents dated July 17, 2026, Adekoya, through her lawyer, Festus Ogun of FOLEGAL, accused Sandra of libel, fraudulent misrepresentation, and breach of privacy, alleging that she published false and damaging content about her on Instagram.
The claimant also alleged that in November 2023, Sandra impersonated Frank Edoho on WhatsApp and invited her to the Edoho residence in Lagos under the guise of a ₦10 million offer. She further claimed she was taken to the residence by someone posing as Frank’s brother and was allegedly locked in a room before Frank later apologised after discovering what had happened.
Adekoya further alleged that following the breakdown of Sandra and Frank Edoho’s marriage in 2026, Sandra shared her photograph, private WhatsApp conversations and a video on Instagram, portraying her as one of several women allegedly involved with Frank.
She maintained that the publications were false and malicious, claiming they subjected her to public ridicule, cyberbullying and reputational damage after they were widely circulated online.
In the suit, Adekoya is asking the court to declare the posts defamatory, order Sandra to delete them, issue a public apology, restrain her from making similar publications in the future, and award her ₦100 million in damages and legal costs.
Her legal team also proposed an out-of-court settlement, requesting that Sandra remove the posts, publish an apology acknowledging the alleged impersonation, and pay ₦20 million in damages. Sandra was given seven days to respond to the claims before further legal action would be taken.
