Speaking at an event where Isa Salihu Bashir Kalanjeni, former Chairman of Tangaza Local Government Area, defected from the APC to the ADC, Tambuwal described Tinubu as an “outgoing president” who is losing sleep over Atiku’s presence.
“President Bola Tinubu, who is leaving office, has been staying up late because of the ADC. Everywhere he turns, he sees Atiku Abubakar,” Tambuwal said.
He accused the APC of attempting to suppress the ADC’s visibility but insisted that “God has prevented those plans from working.”
Tambuwal also criticized the federal government for failing to adequately address insecurity and other pressing national challenges.
According to him, many politicians hesitate to join the ADC due to the pressure of leaving the ruling party, but he stressed that only those prioritizing Nigeria’s interests over personal gain will align with the ADC.
