The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has declared that its former National Chairman, Shehu Musa Gabam, is no longer a member of the party.
The party insisted that Gabam’s suspension and subsequent expulsion were properly ratified by the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the national convention, in full compliance with the SDP’s constitution and the Electoral Act.
National Chairman of the party, Professor Sadiq Gombe, made this position known while speaking to journalists shortly after a closed-door meeting with the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Joash Amupitan, in Abuja
