As Muslims across Nigeria and around the world mark the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitri, a prominent House of Assembly aspirant in Abeokuta North State Constituency, Alhaji Yisa Ismaila Adebayo, popularly known as OMO-ADE, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful, urging them to sustain the values of peace, sacrifice, and unity imbibed during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the festival, OMO-ADE congratulated Muslims in Abeokuta North and beyond for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and devotion to Almighty Allah.
He emphasized that Eid-el-Fitri is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity to reinforce the virtues of compassion, generosity, and peaceful coexistence. According to him, these values are essential for fostering harmony and development within communities, particularly in Abeokuta North.
The aspirant called on residents of the constituency to remain committed to unity regardless of religious or ethnic differences, noting that collective progress can only be achieved in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. He further encouraged well-to-do individuals to extend a helping hand to the less privileged, in line with the teachings of Islam.
OMO-ADE also used the occasion to reaffirm his dedication to the growth and advancement of Abeokuta North, pledging to prioritize people-oriented policies and inclusive representation if given the mandate to serve in the State House of Assembly.
