The Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, , has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful across Ifo and Ewekoro Federal Constituency on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the celebration, Rt. Hon. Isiaka congratulated the Muslim Ummah for their steadfast devotion, discipline, and sacrifice throughout the fasting period. He described Ramadan as a time of deep spiritual reflection, self-restraint, and renewed commitment to the values of compassion, generosity, and peace.
The lawmaker praised the resilience and faith demonstrated by Muslims, noting that the lessons of Ramadan should not end with the celebration but should continue to guide daily conduct. “Eid-el-Fitr is not only a celebration but also a reminder of the virtues of patience, humility, and kindness that we must uphold in our interactions with one another,” he stated.
Rt. Hon. Isiaka further called on residents of Ifo and Ewekoro to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence, regardless of religious or ethnic differences. He emphasized that sustainable development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of harmony and mutual respect.
He also urged constituents to use the festive period to pray for the peace, stability, and progress of Nigeria, while expressing optimism about the nation’s future. According to him, collective efforts and unwavering faith are essential in overcoming current challenges facing the country.
Reaffirming his commitment to effective representation, Isiaka assured constituents of his continued dedication to initiatives that will improve their welfare and promote socio-economic growth within the constituency.
