Sen. Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi (Okanlomo of Ibadanland) has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to the Muslim faithful and the good people of Oyo State as they celebrate the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message made available to the public, Senator Akanbi congratulated Muslims on the spiritual discipline, devotion, and sacrifices observed during Ramadan. He urged them to sustain the virtues of piety, compassion, tolerance, and generosity imbibed during the fasting period.
The Okanlomo of Ibadanland emphasized the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence, and collective responsibility in building a prosperous society. He encouraged citizens to continue supporting one another, especially the less privileged, noting that the essence of Eid extends beyond celebration to acts of kindness and community service.
Senator Akanbi also called on residents to use the festive occasion to pray for continued peace, progress, and development in Oyo State and Nigeria at large. He reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the people and his dedication to initiatives that uplift communities across the state.
