The African Church Grammar School, Abeokuta (AFROGRAMS) Old Students’ Association, ACGSOSA, has joined Nigerians at home and abroad to celebrate former Ogun State Governor and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, FCA, CON, on the occasion of his 68th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued by the association, the Acting National General Secretary, Mr. Kamorudeen Adegbokiki, described Senator Amosun as a distinguished alumnus and a proud product of AFROGRAMS whose life and public service continue to reflect the values of excellence, discipline, and selfless leadership instilled by the institution.
According to the association, Senator Amosun has over the years demonstrated uncommon love and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of African Church Grammar School, Abeokuta. His support, the statement noted, cuts across both physical infrastructure development and human capacity building, leaving a lasting impact on the school community.
“Senator Ibikunle Amosun has consistently identified with his alma mater and has contributed immensely to its progress. His dedication to giving back to AFROGRAMS underscores his passion for education and youth development,” the statement read.
ACGSOSA further described the former governor as an exemplary role model whose achievements in public service have brought pride and honour to the institution. The association noted that his contributions to governance and national development have continued to inspire generations of students and alumni.
As part of the celebration, the association joined Senator Amosun’s numerous associates, friends, and well-wishers in marking the milestone, while offering prayers for continued good health, renewed strength, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in his ongoing service to humanity and the nation.
The congratulatory message also conveyed the warm goodwill and best wishes of the National President of ACGSOSA, Barrister Taofeek ‘Bola’ Shittu, alongside members of the association across Nigeria and in the diaspora.
