As Christians across Nigeria and the world prepare to celebrate the 2025 Christmas festivities, the Commissioner representing Ogun State at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Hon. Akeem Amosun, has extended warm felicitations to the good people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency and Nigerians at large.
In a goodwill message released on Tuesday to mark the Christmas celebration of Wednesday, December 25, 2025, Hon. Amosun described Christmas as a season of love, sacrifice, hope and renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence, values which he said are critical to national unity and development.
The RMAFC Commissioner noted that the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes humility, selflessness and compassion, virtues that should inspire leaders and citizens alike to work tirelessly for the progress of their communities and the nation.
Hon. Amosun commended the people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency for their resilience, patience and continued support for good governance, stressing that their cooperation remains vital in building a stronger and more prosperous society.
He urged Christians to use the festive period to pray for peace, economic stability and sustained growth in Nigeria, while also showing love and generosity to the less privileged in their communities.
“Christmas reminds us of the importance of unity, tolerance and shared responsibility. As a nation, we must continue to support one another, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, in order to achieve our collective aspirations,” he said.
Hon. Amosun further reaffirmed his commitment to effective representation of Ogun State at the RMAFC, assuring constituents that he would continue to contribute meaningfully to policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing fiscal equity, economic development and improved welfare for Nigerians.
He concluded by wishing the people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency and all Nigerians a joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year, praying that the season brings renewed hope, peace and blessings to every home.
