Abeokuta — Former House of Representatives candidate for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Chief Toyin Amuzu (TA), has congratulated Omooba (Dr.) Sunday Solarin, FCA, on his emergence as the new Deputy National Organising Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement released on Sunday, Amuzu described Dr. Solarin’s elevation as a well-deserved milestone and a significant step forward for the PDP, noting that his antecedents speak volumes about dedication, competence, and unwavering loyalty to the party.
Amuzu highlighted Dr. Solarin's professional pedigree as a seasoned financial expert and administrator, affirming that his expertise will contribute immensely to strengthening the organisational framework of the PDP, particularly at a period when the party is focusing on restructuring and repositioning ahead of future political contests.
“Dr. Sunday Solarin is a thorough professional and a steadfast party man. His emergence reflects the confidence the PDP has in competent individuals who can help reposition the party for future success. I congratulate him and wish him a successful tenure,” Amuzu stated.
He further commended party stakeholders and delegates for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the process that led to Solarin’s emergence, adding that such internal harmony is essential for the sustainability and progress of the party.
Amuzu urged party members across the country to rally behind the newly elected deputy national officer, stressing that collective support will be crucial as the PDP strengthens its internal structures and prepares for upcoming political engagements.
