Abeokuta, Ogun State — The OMOADE Foundation, under the distinguished leadership of its Chairman, Alhaji Yisa Ismaila Adebayo, popularly known as Omo-Ade, has joined sons and daughters of Ibara Kingdom in rejoicing with His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Jacob Olufemi Omolade, JP, MON, CFR, and the Central Council of Chiefs, Ibara Baales, on the joyous occasion of the 2025 Ibara Day Celebration.
In a congratulatory message released to the press, Alhaji Omo-Ade described the annual Ibara Day as “a time of unity, cultural pride, and thanksgiving — a celebration that reminds every indigene of the greatness and heritage of the Ibara Kingdom.”
“On behalf of the OMOADE Foundation, I extend our warm felicitations to our royal father, His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr.) Jacob Olufemi Omolade, and the entire people of Ibara Kingdom on this momentous occasion. Ibara Day is more than a cultural celebration; it is a reaffirmation of our shared values of peace, progress, and community development,” he said.
Alhaji Omo-Ade commended Oba Omolade for his exceptional leadership, wisdom, and fatherly guidance that have continued to foster unity and sustainable growth within the Ibara community and beyond.
“Kabiyesi has shown uncommon commitment to the welfare of his people. His reign has brought peace, progress, and development to Ibara and Egbaland at large. We celebrate his vision and the legacy of harmony he continues to uphold,” he added.
The foundation chairman also lauded the Central Council of Chiefs, Ibara Baales, and all illustrious sons and daughters of the kingdom for their contributions towards community development and for keeping the spirit of Ibara alive through unity, collaboration, and cultural preservation.
“This celebration is a reminder of who we are as a people — industrious, united, and forward-looking. The OMOADE Foundation remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote education, health, and youth empowerment within Ibara and the entire Egba land,” Alhaji Omo-Ade affirmed.
He encouraged the younger generation of Ibara indigenes to take pride in their heritage and to emulate the virtues of integrity, service, and respect for tradition that define the community’s identity.
“Let us continue to work together in the spirit of love and progress. When we unite under a shared purpose, there is no limit to what we can achieve as a people,” he said.
Alhaji Omo-Ade concluded his goodwill message by praying for long life, good health, and greater accomplishments for His Royal Majesty, Oba Jacob Olufemi Omolade, while wishing all Ibara sons and daughters a peaceful and joyous celebration.
“May this year’s Ibara Day bring renewed strength, divine blessings, and continued prosperity to our kingdom. Long live Ibara! Long live our Kabiyesi!” he declared.
