Central Coordinate Movement (CCM) Celebrates Chief Sunday Sowunmi, APC Senatorial Chairman, on His Birthday

Abeokuta, Ogun State — The Central Coordinate Movement (CCM), a leading socio-political group in Ogun Central Senatorial District, has extended warm felicitations to Chief Sunday Sowunmi, the Senatorial Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, on the joyous occasion of his birthday celebration, marked today, Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
In a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Taiwo Elewide, popularly known as Big Champion, Akile Egbaland, the group described Chief Sowunmi as “a grassroots leader, bridge-builder, and a dependable pillar of progress whose leadership continues to inspire loyalty, unity, and growth within the APC family and beyond.”
“On behalf of the entire members of the Central Coordinate Movement, we heartily celebrate our distinguished leader, Chief Sunday Sowunmi, on the occasion of his birthday. He is a man of integrity, humility, and vision — a leader who has dedicated his life to the service of the people and the advancement of democratic values,” the statement read.
Alhaji Elewide commended Chief Sowunmi’s contributions to the consolidation of the APC structure in Ogun Central, noting that his leadership style has strengthened party cohesion and fostered inclusiveness across political and community lines.
“Chief Sowunmi’s exemplary leadership and unwavering loyalty to the ideals of the party have made him a role model for many young politicians. He has consistently demonstrated commitment to unity, discipline, and fairness — values that define true leadership,” he added.
The CCM Chairman further highlighted Chief Sowunmi’s dedication to community development, describing him as “a true son of Ogun State who has continued to use his influence to promote peace, empowerment, and good governance.”
“Beyond politics, Chief Sowunmi’s philanthropic gestures and mentorship of youths have touched many lives. He remains a source of inspiration to the APC family and to all who believe in purposeful leadership,” Alhaji Elewide said.
