The Oduduwa Integrity Association (OIA) has officially announced that it has taken over the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the authenticity of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate belonging to the Minister of Interior, Honourable Olubunmi Tunji Ojo.

In a statement issued by the association’s spokesperson on Tuesday, the group emphasized that it is determined to uphold transparency, truth, and the rule of law in its investigation. The OIA maintained that it will ensure that Nigerians receive accurate information concerning the matter, cautioning against misinformation from unregistered or unverified organizations.

“If you are not registered by law, most of what you do will be regarded as frivolities,” the statement read.

“We have begun an in-depth review of Hon. Tunji Ojo’s NYSC certificate. Any organization or individual providing false or misleading information to the public will not be taken seriously.”

The association disclosed that a special investigative committee has been inaugurated within Yoruba land to probe the origin, authenticity, and issuance process of the certificate. The committee, according to OIA, is composed of legal experts, civil rights advocates, and representatives from youth organizations across the South-West region.

The OIA assured Nigerians that its investigation will be thorough and unbiased, adding that all findings will be made public at the appropriate time. The association reiterated its commitment to ensuring accountability in public service, stating that no individual, regardless of political position or influence, is above scrutiny.

“We owe it to Nigerians to provide the truth,” the statement continued. “The integrity of our institutions must not be compromised. We will not rest until the facts are laid bare for the people to see.”

The Oduduwa Integrity Association further called on the public and relevant authorities to cooperate with the committee by providing any credible information that may assist in the investigation.

The statement concluded by assuring that Nigerians will be formally addressed once the investigation is complete and that the findings will be shared transparently to promote trust and integrity in governance.
