65 YEARS OF TOGETHERNESS
Sixty-five years is not just a number, but the story of our heroes who never gave up on their dream of nationhood. Their sacrifices laid the foundation for the peace, the freedom we all enjoy today and renew our hope for a greater Nigeria.
As we mark this year’s Independence Anniversary, I call on every son and daughter of Sagamu Local government, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large to embrace the spirit of togetherness. Our diversity is not a weakness but our greatest strength.
Let this celebration inspire us to be more committed to the growth of our communities, by working in unity, playing our individual roles with sincerity, and instill in the next generation the virtues of hard work, integrity, and patriotism.
On behalf of the Government of Sagamu Local Government, I congratulate all Nigerians at home and in the diaspora. May the labour of our past heroes never be in vain, and may Nigeria continues to flourish in peace, prosperity, and unity.
