The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, extends heartfelt congratulations to Comrade James Sowole on his recent appointment and inauguration as a National Ex-Officio and constitutional member of the Central Working Committee (CWC) during the National Executive Council meeting held in Kano State.
According to Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, Chairman, Ogun NUJ through a press statement signed by Comrade Bunmi Adigun, Secretary, Ogun NUJ, described Comrade James Sowole, as a distinguished journalist with This Day newspaper and a dedicated unionist, has previously served as both Chairman and Secretary of the Ondo State Council of NUJ. His commitment to the union and the profession has made him a respected figure within the Ogun State Council and beyond.
Additionally, we acknowledge the inauguration of Mr. Seye Ojo from Zone B as a trustee of the Union, which further enhances the representation of our zone at the national level.
The Ogun State Council regards Mr. Sowole's appointment as a testament to his competence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to union service. We are confident that he will leverage his extensive experience to champion the interests of all members across the country.
